Skills Competition 6u-11u Event #1, 9u-14u Event #2 & #3:
40-YARD DASH: (2 max per team)
A player from each participating team will race in a 40-yard sprint to determine the fastest player from each division.

TIMED RELAY RACE: (4 max per team)
Four players per team, each player takes a spot at home plate, 1st base, 2nd base, and 3rd base. The race begins with the player positioned at home plate running with baseball in hand to the player positioned at first. Player then hands ball off to player at first and then that player continues the same process to player at 2nd, then that player in turn does the same to the player at third who then runs home. Please note that the baseball must be handed off to next player and not tossed which can result in disqualification. Fastest team wins.

TIMED AROUND THE HORN: (5 max per team)
Five players (Catcher, 1b, 2b, 3b, ss) from one team will each position themselves to occupy all the three bases and home plate. The activity begins with the ball placed on home plate and the catcher in a squat behind the plate making a throw to second base covered by the second baseman, second making throw to first base, first making throw back to second base now covered by the shortstop, short making the throw to 3rd base, and 3rd making the final throw back to home, the time will be recorded when the catcher catches the ball and touches home plate. Each player must touch their respective bag/plate prior to each throw. The team with the fastest time "around the horn" will win. A team may attempt a 2nd attempt but the 2nd attempt will be their recorded time no matter the outcome.

ACCURACY: (not in other skills)
Each participating team will have a representing player line up at a designated position in centerfield. When instructed to begin, that player will throw a total of 5 baseballs (one at a time) at a designated target near home plate. The player with most target hits wins.

Home Run Derby: (1 max per team)
The "Granddaddy" of them all. The player will align themselves in the batter's box and have a coach or adult they provide throw them 10 pitches from behind an L-Screen. The player who hits the most home runs from their 10 pitches wins the event.
